Our all-natural Veal Top Round Cutlet from humanely raised, milk-fed calves packs a whole lot of delicate veal flavor and tender texture into thinly sliced cutlets. It's the premium cut and quality you need to create restaurant-quality veal piccata, marsala, parmesean and more.
Preparation Instructions: For best results thaw under refrigeration until fully thawed. Use within 5-7 days. Remove cutlets from packaging and place veal portions flat onto a clean cutting board. Lightly (further) tenderize cutlets with a tenderizer hammer if desired and sprinkle with salt and pepper to desired taste. Place fine Panko bread crumbs in large shallow bowl. Place flour in medium size bowl. Beat eggs just to blend in another medium size bowl. Lightly dust veal cutlets in flour, followed by egg, and then fine Panko bread crumbs. Press gently to adhere, and then place the cutlets flat onto a baking sheet with plastic wrap or wax paper in between layers. Veal can be prepped 2 hours ahead before cooking. Cover and chill in refrigerator. Cooking Method: Saut'ed. Preheat medium size saute' pan with about 1 tablespoon of oil. Carefully place breaded veal cutlets into a saute' pan and let cook for 2 minutes per side. Can be used for Parmesan style, scaloppini, rolled, stuffed. Any of your favorite veal recipes calling for veal portions.
